Recently, the "Golden-Pillow Award of China's Hotels", organized by China's top financial medium 21st Century Business Herald and Business Travel Magazine, and the "China Travel & Meetings Industry Awards" by the famous travel magazine M&C China of Northstar Travel Group, were successfully held in Shanghai and Beijing respectively.

Stanford Residences, a leader in the high-end serviced apartment market of Shanghai, achieved great results and won the "2017 China's Best Upscale Long Rental Residence Brand" from "Golden-Pillow Award of China's Hotels", and "Serviced Apartment Operator of the Year" from "China Travel & Meetings Industry Awards" for its excellent occupancy rate and high tenant satisfaction.

Since its debut in 2004, the "Golden-Pillow Award of China's Hotels" has been held for 14 years and is widely known as the "Oscar" in China's hotel industry. A large-scale hotel industry evaluation for luxury hotels in China, it marks an important recognition by the industry owing to its well-renowned fairness, innovative principles and careful planning. The assessment involves mystery shoppers and online voting by hotel industry experts and scholars, hotel investors, top business elites, media editors and special report editors of 21st Century Business Herald and Business Travel, recognized as one of the most influential awards in the hotel industry.

Travel Weekly China has launched its "China Travel & Meetings Industry Awards" since 2002 to recognize the best enterprises in China's travel, meeting and incentive industry. Selected out by a judge panel formed by leading experts and professionals from the tourism and MICE industry, “China Travel & Meetings Industry Awards” covers all aspects of the industry from the products, services to the market  performance and development strategies in terms of the evaluation, also one of the most influential awards in the hotel industry.

Stanford Residences, the winner of the two big awards, is the high-end serviced apartment brand launched by Hong Kong's K.Wah International Holdings Limited

(Stock code: 00173) in Mainland China. Stanford Residences is supposed to provide high quality living environment and superb 24-hour butler services for those domestic and foreign families in Shanghai with the help of KWIH's rich experience in hotel management and operation of premium residences. Since its formal operation, Stanford Residences has been leading Shanghai's high-end serviced apartment market with a high-level rental and excellent occupancy rate.

"We are pleased to be recognized as the 'Serviced Apartment Operator of the Year 2017' and '2017 China's Best Upscale Long Rental Residence Brand', the two top awards in the hotel related industry. They're testament to the hard work of our dedicated team members and show that Stanford Residences has been favorably noticed and well received by the industry experts, consumers and media. Supported by the nation's polices like "lease-purchase", and with growing demands for quality living, high-end serviced apartment market promises bright prospects. Under such favorable conditions, Stanford Residences will continue to strive for excellence and ensure high quality of hospitality services for those domestic and foreign families traveling or living in Shanghai," Mr. Leo Lee, Associate Director of K. Stanford Residences has put two projects in full operation in Shanghai. Among them, Stanford Residences Jing An, the brand's first high-end serviced apartment project, is located in the CBD of Nanjing West Road in Jing'an District. Since its full operation in May 2016, Stanford Residences Jing An has maintained an occupancy rate of above 90%. Because of its excellent market performance, KWIH put on the market another building in Grand Summit for the lease this year; and the apartments of Stanford Residences Jing An rise to 129 sets, putting it in a better position to provide services for families in Shanghai.

Encouraged by the success of Stanford Residences Jing An, the brand has launched its second serviced apartment project in Shanghai--Stanford Residences Xu Hui. Set in the heart of Shanghai’s historic Xuhui District, Stanford Residences Xu Hui evokes a classic French elegance while bringing forth a contemporary approach to modern living. Since the formal operation in June 2017, the 66 apartments in the first phase have reached an occupancy rate of 80%.

In September this year, Stanford Residences will launch its third high-end serviced apartment project–Stanford Residences Jin Qiao.
