Fathers are the superheroes that help us grow up. Fathers are the only ones who tell us to bravely face difficulties. Fathers are the only ones who teach us the importance of responsibilities when we may want to shirk our duties. Fathers are the only ones who remind us to be true to our original dreams when hope seems lost. You always have his company, and he always have yours, no matter what. Our lives consist of many different scenes, but no place has the better view from the shoulders of your father, whether you compare it to views from mountaintops, seacoasts or forests. No matter where we were, I love those times we moved across forests and seaside while I walked in your shadow. I have always been following your steps and moving forward with you. We can hear the laughter and call out on the football court on a sunny afternoon. Two figures chase and cheer each other on. It is a great moment that we have with our fathers. Through our entire life, we cannot seem to remember a time when our fathers are not there to support and guide us, but how long have we not said “I love you” to him? Time steals by, but our superhero image of our fathers never changes. All our fathers need is some greetings and company. Maybe he does not return to Stanford Residences, but our longing and love for fathers last. Stanford Residences will always be here and say “welcome home” to you.
